Love the feature of no handle on the front.

We purchased the microwave a month ago and love the sleek look with the opening on the side. It has a much bigger "inside" and can accommodate my large baking dishes. It is very impressive looking! I was nervous about not having the traditional handle on the front but I am delighted now that I chose that model's feature. It blends right in to my other GE Profile appliances that are seven years old.
I would recommend this to a friend!

noisy exhaust fan

Purchased from and installed by local dealer. I like the sleek look, the large door and cooking area, the no handle design, BUT the exhaust fan is noisy. The fan has the typical/acceptable air movement sound BUT it is accompanied by a low level "groan" emanating from its motor. It only goes away when the fan is placed in the "BOOST" mode. The dealer promptly ordered/installed a replacement fan unit and the groan persists. It is assumed, by the dealer, that it's a design issue..."harmonic distortion". Whatever the reason, it is an unacceptable noise. I have a call into the dealer about our next move?

Didn't like at all

Arrived damaged. Got another one delivered. Do not like this microwave the touch pads cannot be read print is too faint to read. The food cooks unevenly too. I do not like the big door with no handle is too bulky and makes a problem in small narrow kitchen. I would not recommend this microwave at all.

I am in many different peoples home and one clients microwave caught my eye. We were redoing our whole kitchen so wanted an upgrade from my 15 year old one. I read a review that one person didn't like that the light inside wasn't bright enough to watch his food cook. This is true but to each their own. Who really wants to stand so close with all the micro-waves that are cooking your food. lol

Beautiful and stylish, this profile out performs my old microwave. Installation is done in 30 mins. Out with the old and pop in quick withe the new.
