Great Microwave, very big

We replaced a 20 year old builder supplied GE Microwave with another GE because of the quick start feature and since the first one lasted 20 years. So far very pleased, the microwave is not "Great" because of 2 things. 1st the surface light has 2 settings and the first setting is low, then high. Personally I believe it should be the other way around, high then low. 2nd is the install template was hard to use, I found it difficult to attach the template to the bottom of the upper cabinet to mark the holes for drilling. It would of been much easier to use if the template was one piece for the upper & lower which you fold then, attach to the back wall first and that would of made it easier to attach to the upper cabinet
I would recommend this to a friend!

No handle, no problem,

We specifically looked for a microwave to replace our 20+ year old built in, it still worked but had a broken handle. This microwave was the perfect solution, and also a GE to boot-hopefully built to last like the previous one! So far we love it!

Second Purchase of Model

I had this model in a previous house and loved it, so when moving, I decided to purchase the same model . This model is much faster in performance than the model I replaced in the new house and the design is so sleek without that outside handle. Gives the kitchen an updated look.

Nice looking design. Larger than expected. No separate button for the night light. You also have to cycle through the four fan speeds to shut it off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
