Great Microwave

This is a really great microwave. The blue interior makes for easy cleanup and I really like the instant timing option. There is one thing that I would have liked for it to have and that is for the numbers to light up so that you could see it at night without having to turn on kitchen lights. Other than that, it is a fantastic microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only used it a couple of times but really like it so far. It's quiet and cooks much faster than my old counter top microwave. I really like the Chef Connect feature that allows the clock, fan & light to sync with the range. Exhaust fan is a little on the noisy (rattles) side but everything else works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The exhaust fan seems stronger than others and the underneath lighting is great.
The main thing I am having to adjust to is being able to open the door with my left hand when I have something in my right hand to put in the microwave. I am getting used to it though. I'm very pleased with the unit.

Has broken twice in 1 year

Twice a small plastic piece has broke off on the vent, so it will no longer latch and the microwave door won't close. It's a poor design to have a tiny piece of plastic hold the vent up. You cannot close the door of the microwave because the vent falls down. If you try to push the vent back up, it falls right back down. We received a free replacement vent, but it only fixed the problem for about a month. The exact same thing happened a few weeks later.
Also, this microwave is longer than a traditional microwave, which can cause install problems. We paid to have them install it, but they do not carry tile cutters, so they could not install it. We had to wait a few weeks to pay to have our own handyman do it. Due to this delay, we were literally days out of warranty when the vent piece broke again. The replacement parts do not carry an additional warranty.
The only positive is that it looks cool and sleek. However, it arrived damaged with a dent in the front. The item was back ordered, so I was worried we would not receive another one and we'd already taken down our old microwave.
This is by far the most I've ever spent on a microwave, so I was expecting a lot more and better quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Features are good. Venting fan is loud and wish they had a microwave rack so you are able to heat more then one item at a time

Great Microwave, elegant design but cheap material

We bought this microwave as a replacement after our older GE profile microwave stopped working. We love this design with no door handle but were very disappointed when the latch on the grille door for charcoal filter broke when we opened the microwave door. The material used is very cheap and was designed to only last till the warranty. My brother in law also purchased this model and has the exact same issue. This is more of an annoyance issue cause now I have to use one hand to hold the grille door shut and close the microwave door with the other hand. Also, compared to other microwaves the door on this one is the entire front dimension so it opens very wide.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
