We have owned this model for 3 years and in that time have had to call a repair service 3 times.The turn table motor went out just after warrany ended. Then the door switches went out. The last repair would have been for the transformer. Not putting any more money into it. This was poor manufacturing for GE. Will be junking this and buying something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The filter hinge broke the first year which GE did replace only to again break 2 years later. Now the third year it made a load explosion noise and lost all power and doesn't have any power and is useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

From No Microwave to MICROWAVE

Our new home did not have a microwave. We waited to purchase until we found the right one for us. This was it. It had the right features. I can actually cook as well as warm up foods, and being a GE it will last us a long time.

We Love PROFILE appliances

Our Profile appliances are 15 years old and still going strong.....Just recently needed to replace the microwave. Have not used it yet but it is stunning to look at. We will be retiring soon, so we decided to replace all our kitchen appliances. We should be good for another 15 years plus.... We love GE products

Nice size, elegant AND EASY

I love this because it works just like I would expect. That may not sound like a lot but it is. It has all you need and is not overcomplicated. My parents bought another brand recently and I still have no idea how to just heat up water - apparently the one they got (NOT GE) is smarter than me. I guess that is what I like - it's elegant, large and not smarter than me ;-)
