Appearance does not match the price

This is an expensive microwave compared to many others. In sunlight conditions, the control panel appears wavy - and yes, the plastic protective sheet has been removed. Was expecting a better look for the money.
On the plus side - large cooking area.

We have had this microwave since 4/24/2020. I couldn’t be more pleased with the look and ease of use. I also purchased the Bluetooth GE stove that matches and they work very well together. While it is full of features and options, it is not overly complicated and very easy to use. One of my favorite features is the Bluetooth connection with the stove which will turn on the exhaust fan and surface light of the microwave when you turn on one of the burners on the cooktop. When you set the clock on the matching stove, it syncs with the microwave to match. The controls lock feature allows you to clean the panel without disturbing settings or accidentally pressing buttons. So far, this has been a great purchase especially with the matching GE Profile range that supports the Bluetooth connection. You won’t be disappointed in making this purchase based on my experience so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Microwave!

I had a GE microwave previous to this new one and I love the one touch feature for 1,2, 3, 4, or 5 minute settings. Most other microwaves do not have this very convenient feature.
It is large and spacious. Looks good over my new dual fuel range. I love the darker interior except it is a bit difficult to see whats cooking inside as the light is not bright enough, but most microwaves are dark inside now. Its easy enought open it up and check food if you have to.

This was to replace a 36" microwave that couldnt be fixed or replaced. Went with GE because of features equivilant to the one it replace and the trim kit looked the best of all to fill the ga it was filling

Needed to replace our 16 year old microwave that finally up and died. This model fit our budget and our plans to upgrade to an over-the-range model. Plenty of details regarding product dimensions and installation specifications so it was easy to determine space requirements.
Small issue with the mounting plate when installing below a flush cabinet: plate shouldn't be butted up to bottom of cabinet as it didn't give enough clearance, so we needed to loosen the plate and allow maybe 1/16" space between bottom of cabinet and top of plate. Still an easier install that other products I've worked with previously!

Beautiful Design

This is a very attractive microwave oven. I love the sleek, modern, clean design with no handle protruding. LOVE the Black Slate finish!!! The large door....since there is no handle takes just a little bit to get used to...but no big deal. It's very roomy inside and very easy to operate. The lighting for the stovetop is great with 2 power levels and the exhaust fan is more than enough! Overall, we are very happy with this purchase!
