Bad venting

Does not vent properly and the kitchen fills up with steam the repair technician said there was nothing he could do to rectify this design flaw

Hi, We're so sorry for any inconvenience with your microwave. Steam and vapor from around the door while cooking is normal. The door is designed to allow heat and steam to escape to prevent the overheating of the unit. All over range models are equipped for optional venting to the outside or inside; If your model is not vented to the outside, the air can be recirculated through a disposable charcoal filter that helps remove smoke and odors.

This microwave has the controls on the bottom. I love that I can reach all the controls with ease. The microwave is very sleek looking and I get a lot of complements on it.
