Broke in less than three years

Same issue as everyone else. Started tripping the circuit around two years in and now we need to replace it. GE profile too?! We bought this for the expected quality and are extremely disappointed.

Microwave was only 1 year and 3 months old!!!

Our microwave was only 1 year and 3 months old. Today (February 09, 2023) it started short circuiting on the inside right of the unit, sparking and smoking out the kitchen. Now, it doesn't work at all. What a waste of good money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved the microwave when it worked. Would not pay the price for it again based on the fact it doesn't last long enough to justify it. Trips the breaker every every time it's used.

I bought the profile 9005 microwave but had several service calls on it. It is now 5yrs old and dead. Since I have all black slate appliances I need to get this one again but don’t really want too

It functions well but the light is useless. It doesn’t light up the surface enough. And the control buttons are not at all touch sensitive. It takes a lot of pressure to turn them on.
