Microwave is fine. GE Profile oven not so. Improperly funtions and part to repair is on backorder until who knows when. Service people(. 3rd. Party contractors) do not rate highly in my opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as the original 15 yr.old. model

First one lasted 15 years and was mostly metal. This one is mostly plastic. I can only hope it lasts as long. For the high cost it better!

This is another GE appliance I purchased sight unseen. I love the features this has especially the light that you can change from bright to dim - works great as a night light. My family's fave features are the integration with Chef Connect - (I purchased the range as well) lets you sync clocks and range burners with the microwave's surface light and vent the GE app that will let you scan foods is AMAZING and take the guessing right out of the equation.
