It's genuinely Ok.

The touch pad is not easily responsive, we have to hunt for the "sweet spot" to get any of the keys to work.
It would be nice if the touch pad was illuminated, especially in low light. The touchpad is hard to read at in certain light conditions and at angles in any light.
Touch pad requires constant attention to clean fingerprint smudges (even freshly washed hands).
We miss the "time" spin button on our old GE.
I would recommend this to a friend!

While we highly recommend operating the microwave in areas where there is sufficient room lighting, to ensure your safety and to properly see the control panel, we do think a backlit control panel is a great idea! We will definitely pass this to our design team.

literally the worst microwave ever

this is literally the worst microwave we have ever owned. we have to replace the switch where the door clicks in at least once every couple of months. hate hate hate this stupid thing. do not buy.

This is a poor quality microwave, the buttons are hard to push, the fan is extremely loud and it does not cook evenly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too loud and seems cheap

Too loud and the bracket to hang seems cheap compared to our old one. Wish I never bought it. Love my new GE stove oven and refrigerator.

Dissapointing Quality

So far the only thing I still love about the microwave after two years is it's appearance. Love the look and the other matching appliances.
Was first disappointed after purchasing, that the power levels are accomplished by alternating full power on and off, splattering more vs others I have used that just reduces the power output.
Using it for two years now, the turn table started making a grinding noise. Sometimes it isn't as loud but always present. Also recently, the circuit board started creaking a little when you use the number pad. Just today it started making loud clicks when you press the number pad. It has had more issues in two years than my previous entry level GE had in 19 years.
