Great looking microwave

Great design with handle built into the side of the door. Nice clean look. Numbers and control panel runs across the bottom of the oven instead of the right side like most microwaves. Clock and display are bright ad easy to read from a distance. So far, oven works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

replacement microwave

It is smaller than the older model of this we replaced from 2017. new one is smaller inside, and window on the door is too small to see inside as it is cooking. Is also a less powerful microwave so takes longer to cook anything. Also you have to enter things into the buttons differently to achieve the results you want.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Few concerns on microwave

Just got this microwave and other GE Profile appliances yesterday. This microwave has old halogen bulbs installed versus led? Why? Especially the old look yellow warm light. The lens is so hot after 10 minutes you can not even touch it. Same for inside bulb. I have these modern looking appliances, especially the fridge and the microwave looks great until the lights turn on. There has to be replacement bulbs.

Had the old model and replaced with the new model

Originally had a 2021 model that had an issue and GE worked with us to get a replacement in 2023. Just installed the new one and is easy as it says. Mount the bracket and hang the unit on the bracket. This new model is nicer than the old, they look similar but are completely different. This one is smaller package size all around which looks better as it’s not so visually intrusive. We loved the old one and love this one even more because of the slight changes. The sheet metal is stamped tight and the fit and finish is perfect if your nit picky like me.

Sleek!!
