Nice but broken too soon

I love my microwave that I bought 2 years ago until it died completely. A technician came and replaced the burnt fuse, it started working again. But it worked for 24 hours, it died again. It’s very frustrating that a 2 years old microwave has a problem. The question is should I buy I new one or trying again to fix (it it can be fixed, who Knows?)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're extremely sorry to hear that your microwave stopped working after scheduling the service appointment.
We recommend replacing the microwave unit as it will be costly for the repairs and you are out of warranty. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model.

Avoid this model

Avoid this microwave. It breaks easily. We currently have ours held together with scotch tape and last week it started tripping the breaker so we are d o n e!!! It was purchased in 2017.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave Oven is very sleek and fits in with our other GE Profile appliances. Quality is what you would expect from a GE Profile product. Easy to use and best of all, easy to clean!! I would definitely recommend.

So far so good no problems and installation was easy. Only issue is not sure that I got the protective film off the control panel. Looks like waves in the panel but don't want to scratch the panel if there's no film...any suggestions

Works well; door too wide

Works well. The one negative is the width of the door across the entire the microwave. It is a wide swinging arc and you must stay clear of it when opening and closing. The cavity is not the full width, so you don't gain additional cooking space.

Just OK

The GE microwave is just OK A couple things we miss from our old Whirlpool is the soften mode, the defrost with multiple items,, the sensing setting with multiple items. And lastly the popcorn setting on this GE burns the popcorn before it stops. not thrilled
