Pretty good but not great product.

Pretty good product, with two issues: the buttons have to be pressed rather hard and in exactly the right place or they don't work, and the tinted window makes it hard to see the food inside while it's cooking.

Our microwave oven was old and it was time to purchase a new microwave oven. We looked at many different options and because we purchased GE Profile dishwasher we decided to purchase the GE Profile microwave oven. Love all the bells and whistles this microwave oven offers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice unit horrible lightning

I gave this 5stars the other day after installing it however I'm dropping it I should go even lower because the surface lighting is the pits!!! There's one TINY bulb that does nothing on high and even less on low! It's pretty useless to see anything on the stove!

This microwave cooks so much better than my old Samsung And it looks really nice too. I have a GE profile refrigerator. That’s great too. And more than likely will be getting the GE profile dishwasher. Great products.

It's the simple things....

Looks great. Quite noisy when compared to my past Profile microwaves. Also miss the aesthetics of a shiny interior.
And whose "not-so-bright" idea was it to NOT include a programmable night light? I mean, huh? A bazillion $ Profile microwave and THAT was omitted? Shame on ME for not checking first for that attribute and assuming with all the other bells and whistles (that I won't use much) the programmable night light feature would be a given. Why in the world was that not included??? 30+ years with other Profile microwaves and..................wow. Quite dumb. I mean that's like a new high model vehicle that doesn't include cruise!
And I knew the key pad didn't light up, but it should after touching it and stay on for a short delay. That would be extremely helpful.

Microwave Replacement

this is our second microwave, the first one was determined to have a major flaw according to the technician and refunded us for a new one. We like the look and function of the microwave so we purchased the same one. The newer one is constructed slightly different and the installation was not the same as our previous microwave. Overall happy with the microwave as long as this one last more than the last one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement better than original

My wife loves her new microwave. It replaced a previous GE Profile unit that lasted 10 years.
