Just very disappointment. Used couple month, the little latch on the inside vent door was disconnected with the door. I wait for couple months to get the part. After the parts replace it broke at the same spot. the warranty was over after one year. and the couple months ago the whole microwave not working at all. Only one year warranty, the microwave used may be 18 months and have couple month with broken part. I bought GE because my last GE microwave I used for 5 years and has no problem this give me the confident to buy another GE microwave. This model microwave design problem or I bought a lemon.

This model was purchased for our new construction vacation home, which we closed on in November 2016. I did not buy an extended warranty. We use the microwave lightly, not even as frequently as every other weekend, since it is in our vacation home. In July 2018 the display went completely blank and the touch pad does not respond at all. Our vacation home is in a rural area, making the cost just to have a service visit (the area is not even serviced by GE) half the cost of buying a new model. I am very disappointed that a GE appliance of this caliber needs to be replaced after about 1.5 years of light use. That is unacceptable, and I will strongly reconsider ever buying a GE appliances in the future.

Beautiful, works great

Had this microwave for a couple of weeks, and so far works beautifully! Beautiful to look at above my GE profile stove too. Love that it is very easy to keep clean and love the dark interior (except that it is a little hard to see cooking inside...) replaces our previous GE microwave that was 10 years old, and got good service with it for the 10 years, but was showing it's age and needed to be replaced. Hope this one does as well for at least that long. Have had good luck with all of my GE appliances.

Broken Door

We bought this two years ago and the door has broken in three different places. I'm 60 and it's just my wife and I, so it's not like there are kids abusing it. The door just broke from normal use. Other than that, it's a good microwave.

My wife and I find controls confusing to use. We miss lack of preprogrammed cooking and reheating features -- such as coffee reheat and fresh vegetable cooking. Width of door is annoying. User has to step back from the device more than ususal when opening the door.

Works great until.....

I bought this microwave in 2016 when we remodeled our kitchen. Up until this past week it worked fine. Then the touchpad controls works intermittently. I was told by the appliance repairman that the cord that supplies power to the door panel controls gets kinked up and cuts the power. Glad I bought the warranty on this item but what will I do if it happens again when the warranty is up? Other than that, this product does all it is supposed to do. I would rate it 5 stars if it weren't for this issue.

Fan is extremely loud, even on low. Find the programed options to not be a correct amount of time Buttons are a bit hard to push, seems that you have to push them rather hard.
