We replaced an old GE Cafe microwave with the Profile model. Great features and the door is more user friendly than the Cafe.

Nice new features, straight forward installation. The new unit has improved lighting, options, vent sound is improved, quieter, new style is more high-end, commercial appearance.

I was expecting this microwave to have more pre-settings but it doesn't. And don't like how the controls are across the bottom. I miss the handle option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect fit

I had a hard time finding a microwave that would fit. GE solved my problem. My son just got a GE microwave with a steam cleaning option. I wish I had that too. But, I do love my microwave!

We like our GE Products and have them throughout our kitchen and Laundry Room. The only thing that I question on our new Microwave Unit is the touch controls. On our oven unit you just have to touch the controls lightly which we like, but on the microwave unit you have to press the controls real hard in order to get them set.

Proficiently Warms Up

The basic cooking function is superb. It properly recognizes the correct amount of heat necessary to warm up food when sensor cooking. The blue tooth chef connect is a neat feature where it turns on the fan once cooking is initiated on your Profile stove. My only desire is to have it Wi-fi Smart HQ enabled.
