Great look, great features!

Much better than our older GE microwave. I've had it for about a month now, so far so good. The food is definitely a lot warmer than in our older one in less time. The look of the microwave is very nice and compliments our other new appliances.

Love my microwave. It is large, easy to clean and very user friendly. Cooking controls are clear and easy to navigate. Perfect compliment to my kitchen!

Fool me once

After owning this microwave for six years, but only using it half the time as it’s in a vacation home my microwave died. Was advised by GE to buy a new one. I talked to my appliance repair man and he said they are a piece of junk so purchase an extended warranty in the future. What a shame for an American manufacturer to give us a product like this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchase late 2019, first week started making a loud noise, I have read that on other reviews, but couple weeks after that, the filter cover broke really cheap and for the last year and a half it’s been a decorative piece above the range, has not worked. It started with the fan, just not setting off and then none of the buttons started to work at all. Very disappointed. We had our last profile microwave since 2002 that we replaced with this one. Luckily we kept it because that’s what we are using.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cumbersome control, not easy to read or operate for seniors. Door is too big and makes it difficult to open without getting hit in the face.

It was an easy install to replace our 5 year old GE PROFILE, however this one makes a bit more noise. The surface light is a halogen and it only has one now. I preferred LED, it's not as hot as is brighter. I miss the directions to use the microwave that used to be on the inside of the door. Otherwise it is a good microwave. I do like the vent fan settings better than the other microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We like it but the buttons are hard to push. The fan blower you have to push all the cycle buttons til it’s off.
