Overall it looks good and works well. All controls/display are on the door which is unusual...but we like it so far.

Very clean lines and stylish. Was very impressed with detail and simplicity of installation! Was able to install DIY. Interior is larger than our previous microwave, and has a larger rotating plate which is very nice. Going to take getting used to the push button controls, but overall very pleased. Listed as a 1000 watt power, which is what we were used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installation was easy. The microwave was a perfect fit to replace my old GE microwave oven (I measured first to ensure a good fit - my old GE microwave was 20 years old and still going - now at my nephew's house). The outside venting fan is wonderful - takes cooking smells from the house and pushes outside very quickly and efficiently. While the fan is somewhat loud, there is only so much that can be done about fan noise. Features are all I need in a microwave, and controls are easy to read and understand. Capacity is bigger than my prior 20-year old GE microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poorly thought out functions

Thr microwave is nice to look at. The buttons are hard to push, the vents fall out every time someone closes the microver door. Feature are not as good as I would want such as steaming function (only vegetable and rice). The defrost feature only allows fro weight or time and overcooks the food. For GE profile to be more high quality. I surely dont feel that way
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good review... microwave functions work

The lighting in the microwave is dark... In addition, the oversized large BLACK window and the dark lighting make it difficult to look at food/beverages being heated in the microwave.

The microwave should have a handle, like my previous GE Profile microwave. I have to make sure that it does not hit my head.
The buttons are very hard to push.
It heats properly, but I wish that I was aware of these issues before my purchase.
