New machine is louder than the 12 year old GE that it replaced. Also the door sounds like it is rubbing against the plastic surround when it is opened. It is very annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would be great if top of the line GE Profile microwave lasted longer than 20 months. Wife heard small pop noise and that was it. Runs but doesn't heat. Ridiculous to pay what we did a dn get so little life out of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
