Extremly Loud , will cause hearing loss

The vent fan on this microwave is the loudest I have ever heard, sounds like it's on boost all the time. Fully expect it will cause hearing damage. Very bad purchase, stores no longer have working models to check out so when you buy it there is no recourse except to suck it up. Light is not LED and gets hot. I purchase 3 GE appliances at the same time and have been EXTREMELY Disappointed in all 3 , will never purchase anything made by GE again

Great G.E. Microwave Oven

This microwave oven was chosen to replace a 16 year old microwave oven and was chosen based on reviews provided by others. I find this microwave oven to be a solid item that should last for many years.

Poor design.

Bought one in March 2020 with a 2019 date on the label. Lasted 3.5 years before the microwave radiator fried. It is poorly designed. When the vent sucks up the smoke from the stove, it coats the insides with grease. The grease that got onto the high voltage microwave radiator and basically caused it to overheat. Plus the door is too long. Watch your head.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dim surface light for an over the range product.

This product has a lot of nice features, most of which are not used in everyday use.
It's very disappointing that the surface light is not bright enough, even though it has several settings. The light is dull, dim, and not bright enough for over the range cooking. The design engineers should have been able to see this on their product. I was told there is no bigger or brighter replacement bulb available, so we're just stuck with insufficient light.
