I bought this stove three months ago and the oven door broke and fell apart when I closed one day after baking.

Took 2 months to burn off oil smell

We were excited to have this range. Was not told that it would take several uses of the cleaning cycle to burn off the rancid oil smell. Having purchased this in January in Minnesota, there are very few days that you can leave windows open tp air out the smell. Luckily it has been a very mild March, and we were finally able to get the smell burned off this past weekend. I think it is a little excessive to not be able to use this appliance for 8 weeks. My advice is that if you buy it, purchase it in the summer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
