First time buyer, all that I dreamed of. Great sizes, cooks many size pots and skillets. Spills clean up quick, no need to stop cooking.

nothing but trouble

I purchased this stove and within the first six months I have experienced several issues with it. One burner doesn't work, clock can't be set, and caution hot burner light stays on even when stove is not in use. yes, i am getting service under warrant but what happens after a year!!! I feel like I have a "lemon".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using this range for 9 months and have been very happy with all of the functions. I especially like the steam clean feature that allows you to clean the oven periodically without using the full self clean cycle.

Have to push too many button

I've had the oven two months. It cooks well, but the biggest problem I'm still getting used to is pushing a button to confirm everything. You press the timer button, enter a time and have to push Start. If you want to change the timer, you have to push the timer button again and push start again. Same with changing temperature. You have to push Start button all the time as if it's always asking if you are sure you want to do this. It's annoying and just more wear and tear on button that quite honestly feel kinda cheap. The new oven chemical smell took a long time to dissipate as well. So yeah, the over is aight...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really love the even heating of the oven. My last oven was hotter in the back. So I had to turn everything. Found out a concealed heating element means longer preheating time. Wasn't aware of that until I was waiting for the oven to reach 350 degrees. The front double burner only had a High setting from day 1. Service tech came out, ordered the parts and then replaced the burner a week later. The bottom drawer only came with 1 drawer stop, so it would drop on the one side once pulled completely out. Parts were sent and I installed a new style drawer stops. It works ok but original drawer stop was less stiff and a smoother glide than with new style drawer stop. Finish closing it with my foot now. Not really a big deal but I found it very annoying! Not expecting defects on Day 1. GE did check in on a consistent basis until issues were resolved.
I would recommend this to a friend!
