As usual this appliance meets the Quality that GE builds in all their appliances. We have never been disapointed in their service,dependability and crafsmanship of all GE products.

LACK OF QUALITY

The range itself works great - just very poor quality for the glass top, the drawer as well as the control panel. Within a week, the control panel was scratched and the glass top has marks all over it. We are not aggressive with any of our appliances and we have always taken excellent care of our kitchen suite. Highly disappointed...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This range has more burner options on the stove plus a burner just to keep something warm. It is our first convection oven and I am really liking it!

Big Disappointment in the range. Over the last few months we replaced all of our appliances with the slate GE products. The slate is beautiful! No complaints with the fridge, dishwasher, or microwave(purchased together at one store). Last month we bought the range from a different store than the 1st and they delivered it July 20th damaged, we called and they said they would bring another one out August 7th so we had to wait over 2 weeks for the 2nd range to be delivered. They brought the 2nd range today and picked up the 1st and when we opened the box it was more damaged than the 1st range. My friend has the same range and told me the cook top is not good at all, after her 1st time using it she said the burner she used is discolored and scratched. I thought maybe I should just return the 2nd range for a refund and buy another stove with the electric coils but then realized GE doesn't make one like that in slate to match the rest of the appliances, so now I'm stuck. I guess I am going to use our old oven until I figure out what to do but it would be great if you would make a range in slate with electric coils.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
