We wanted a GE range for the quality, We also have a GE Washer and dryer and a Refrigerator that works great.

The only problem I have is setting the clock. I have this range for 4 months now and I still don't know how to set it

NOT WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. BURNERS KEEP GOING OFF AND ON, SAME WITH THE CONFEC OVEN. GLASS TOP IS HARD TO CLEAN AND PANS SPIN ON THE..

GREAT STOVE, BUT........

OK, i needed a new stove anyway, so I’m glad to have this one.
BUT...it didn’t come with much of a book of directions!!
HOW do I find out what I can/cant do with this thing??
Is there something in print that I can get?? NO, I DONT have a printer!!
Back to the stove...the things I’ve asked it to do it does well. I’m at the end of my annual December cookie marathon and everything is copying out well!
Like I said...if there was only an instruction book.............
BUT...it didn’t come with much of a book of directions!!

Stove was not even a month old when I discovered one burner doesn’t heat properly . Also the Hot Cooktop red light is on continuously . Now have to have someone come to repair it. What a hassle. Didn’t expect this from GE!

So Far So Good.

Purchased this range a month ago & so far so good. It took me a little getting use to the new features my old range did not have, but all and all fairly easy to figure out. I really like not having the electrical element on the bottom of the range concealed. Makes clean up a lot easier. The convection feature is a lot differant than my old rangs. The fan turns on adn off - dose not run constant like the old range did. Also the steam clean feature for the oven is some what of a joke. It dose a poor job of cleaning the oven. You need a lot of elbow grease to get the sides and bottom clean.
I also found that my normal oven cook time is reduced by ten to fifteen minutes. But it bakes uniformly.
