popping sounds whenever I use the oven at high temperatures. The glass on the oven door cracked and I assume it is because I bake at high temperatures (400 degrees)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What happened to general electric

Very disappointed in GE after purchasing all GE appliances for my kitchen, none of them lasted more than 4 to 5 years even after being serviced on the average of 3 times!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does Not Last

Just like my GE dishwasher and microwave(s) this product did not hold up. The cooktop wore too easily, some part in the oven fell off and the drawer was flimsy and would not stay in. The worst part is that the keypad cracked with regular wear and it is a struggle to change the temperature and I can not change the time. I am sure someone will leave a response that they want to help me, but they will just waste my time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Inconsistent oven temperature

Oven indicates it is at temperature, but could be 50 degrees below temp.
