Tiny and excellent quality

I got the camera today and it was simple to set up, easy to use and took excellent pictures including full zoom. This replaces a Nikon 9900 that is larger and of less quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent sharpness

I have had this camera for almost a year now. I use it for portraits, landscapes, macro, and everything in between. The clarity of the picture is beautiful for such a small camera. It has a lot of shutter lag, but that is common in point and shoots like this one. I love this camera!

Excellent, Feature Complete Camera
on May 6, 2014

I'd been looking at this camera ever since I saw it unveiled at CES 2014. I was primarily interested in having the newest BIONZ sensor, and this is by far the least expensive instance of Sony's newest technology.
Being an early adopter aside, the major features that make this a pretty amazing camera are it's lock-on focusing, which makes it infinitely simpler to take video of moving things and the 40x zoom which is actually kind of absurd once you get to play with it.
I would absolutely recommend this camera to anyone and I would say that it makes a number of very complicated photo and video techniques incredibly simple to do.

After much researcring

After a full week of researching the type of camera I wanted (I have 8 different cameras) I settled on the wx350b and after using the burst shot, I was so delighted. I am in bowling competition and continuous shooting it showed very good action shots to pick out any serious fault in the bowling alley. Very sharp; very clear. Then I tested the tele. lens at a license plate two blocks away and came out very sharp. What more could you ask for ?

My New Pocket Camera

I currently own a high end Nikon DSLR and several lenes, a fantastic pice of camera equipment. I wanted a small easy and quick to use point and shot camera with a large amount of mega pixels and a long range zoom. This camera is perfect for walk around trips when you don't want to carry heavy equipment , the picture quality and zoom capability are fantastic. This camera fit all my needs perfectly. I would highly recommend this camera to keep close by at all times, the weight and size is just like carrying a smart phone. Much better pics than my iPhone 6.

Disappointed with Wide Angle shots with Flash
on January 3, 2015
Posted by: PilotDave
We needed to replace an aging Canon ELPH 1200 IS and were looking at options that included good low-light sensitivity. The DSC-WX350 was highly rated in Consumers Reports and other reviewers appeared to rate the low-light sensitivity very well for such a small camera and sensor. When we started to take some sample photos, the low-light shots were indeed quite good. Even outdoor shots at night without flash or tripod were no problem. But, indoors without flash and at the widest-angle setting, I noticed some vignetting ... darkening in the corners. When I took the same shot with flash, the vignetting was significantly worse. It is much worse in the lower left corner. Samples below show the effect. Others shots of other subjects showed the same thing. It appears that the light from the flash may be blocked by the lens and causes this effect. Just my theory. We decided that this was not suitable for us and have returned the camera to Sony.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, But Unexceptioal
on September 26, 2014

This camera is easy to use and produces fairly good quality pictures. The low light feature doesn't seem to be extremely efficient. A small, white pinpoint has appeared on the view screen, and while it doesn't download with the photos, it is always there and is somewhat annoying. The camera takes good long range photos, though not sure if the scene selection options produce different results than the Intelligent Auto setting.
