Terrific Camera in a Compact Size

I just returned from a two-week trip in which the camera was used every day. It is terrific! I starts up fast, can take a series of pictures fast, automatically does just about everything, and provides enough ways to override automation that most people need (but probably won't use). I am amazed by how long the battery life was (I rarely used flash so that may make a difference). It took a few attempts to figure out panorama mode but once I did, it was used more often than I would have imagined. The biggest "gift" of all is the power of its zoom capability. The 20x natural zoom was fine as expected, but what I didn't expect was how high quality the digital zoom was at 40x. The only downside I found was that display was hard to see in bright sunlight and there is no optical viewer to use when that happens.
I used the video mode a few times and once again I was surprised about how nice the videos looked. I have a 64GB card so I never feared running out of memory even when shooting videos.
Among the biggest benefits is the power provided in the size of the camera. I carried it in my pocket at all times. You may be interested to know that I got this camera so I wouldn't have heavy SLR hanging around my neck for two weeks (I have a Canon Rebel XT). My previous point-and-shoot was a Canon SD450 and the WX350 makes that camera seem like a "Model T."
I am confident you won't be disappointed if you choose this camera.

Great little camera

This is a very good camera. It takes great pictures. It is steady and you do not get shaky pictures. The telephoto feature works well and takes good pictures of far away objects. The panorama photos are great. The instructions on the camera are easy to understand. The only problem is when you change the dial to set a program the "description" does not go away after a few seconds - you have to partially press the shutter.

Great camera

I was looking for a lightweight camera with good zoom stability.What I found in this camera was even more than I expected. The focus stability is really good, which I use quite a lot on my motorcycle trips. And, I've found the WiFi feature to be a surprise feature that I didn't realize I would use as much as I do. At the end of the day, I quickly transfer my picture to my Kindle Fire for viewing & sharing with family and friends. I would definately recommend this camera.

A great LITTLE camera

I wanted a point and shoot camera for my overseas trip. I wanted a camera that was good in low light settings, had a long optical zoom and took clean pictures. This Sony camera did a great job for me! I love the panorama shots, I love the clarity of the picture quality, and I enjoyed the "PlayMemories" app for this camera. I was able to upload my pictures to FB and my e-mail with ease.
Sony has created a great little camera that performs very well. I highly recommend this camera.

This camera is very similar to my old camera. A little smaller and more zoom power which I like. The only thing I am having a problem with is that the "Movie" button is not in a good location and I am constantly hitting it.

Excellent low light travel camera with great zoom

Bought this for a trip to Europe. IT had excellent battery life, low light photography, and the advanced setting (multiple combined shots) in low light with zoom performed phenomenal. Took pictures in many museums without flash. Pictures came out great. Camera exceeded my expectations for the price point.
