Beautiful stove

I love the looks of this stove, and it works great. I had another GE stove and the only reason I bought a new one was because I wanted a different color. The top is a little harder to keep clean because it is shiny and black, so when I cook, I usually polish it with the stove polish. Convection works great. Love everything about it.

Great features glad I upgraded to the convection

I was able to try out this range in slate without convection when I stayed at a timeshare on vacation used the fast boil it's awesome and cooked on the range top and used the oven very even cooking love the burner size options wanted it ever since I upgraded to the convection and I've been using that feature made the best roast ever and cookies turned out better and more evenly browned extremely happy and love looking at my new appliances also like the fact it is American made

Looks cheap. Oven takes way to long to preheat. Warmer unit useless. Clock disappears when oven is on. Not happy, would rather have my old unit back.

Purchased 6 months ago. Love everything about it but I would not buy another one that has a black cooktop! I previously had a smoothtop oven and the glass was gray so didn't show every single splatter. This one I have to clean even if I've only boiled water!

In April my husband bought me the beautiful electric slate stove. I love the color, the size of the oven, the choice of burner sizes and the easy cleanup. With seven children and three now in college a brand new stove is a big deal. We had moved here in the last two years and adjusting to electric was frustrating. We were working on our kitchen and were getting ready for my daughters graduation open house. Two hundred people were coming and we were busy! The new stove helped so much and was so much easier to use. I was getting ready to take my daughter for an appointment and we were cleaning up the kitchen. She looked at me with the saddest face and showed me a crack in the cooktop. We were both sick to out stomachs but I knew nothing had dropped. On our way we called the number on the warranty papers. A really nice guy answered and talked to us. He said it sounded like a manufacturers defect and would have someone come take a look. He comforted us and was so kind . Within a short time a repairman came, took pics and assured us it was not our fault. You have no idea how grateful we were and are! A new top was shipped to us right away and in a short time the same repairman returned to make it like new a week before my daughters graduation party. I have never been treated this well by any appliance manufacturers and will be buying GE appliances as a rule. If I could have you in my kitchen I would bake you the best cinamon rolls you have ever had to say thanks times one hundred.

It is beautiful in the new slate color. I was surprised that the cooktop started changing color at the heating element as soon as I started using it. It is like the paint is fading. The under-drawer is also made of such thin metal and so flimsy that I have to keep all my pans in the pantry instead of in the drawer. The over works fantastic though. I expected more for the price I suppose. It does look lovely in my new kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
