We made the upgrade to this model after 37 years using a smaller, drop in, open coil range that was a standard model 60 years ago. We are thrilled with the appearance, features, functioning, ease of cleaning, efficiency of cooking and baking, and fully effective insulation.

We went looking for a new range and when I saw this one it had everything I was looking for and more. Love the warming burner, helps when you miss judge the timing schedule of different items. The steam clean, that only runs for 30 minutes, will be a great way to keep the oven clean without having run the self cleaning mode that usually takes 2 hrs. The price was in line with other brands with less features. I have always trusted GE and it shows in my kitchen that now has a GE microwave, refrigerator and range. Thanks GE for great products/

VERY NICE RANGE

I have had this unit for 2 weeks and it heats much faster then my old stove and cooktop. The 2 dual-burners add a lot of diversity to it. I've also made good use of the warmer burner. I have some difficulty getting a low simmer but I'm still playing with it. The oven has a strong odor when you first use it so you should heat it up on high a few times without food, or use a short self-clean cycle. I love that the bottom coil is hidden. The clock is a little tough to set, but the timer works great.
