Efficient operation

Oven was purchased in December and has held up nicely. Smooth operation, and fairly simple cleanup. If I had to pick a negative, the cooktop needs to be cleaned with cook top cleaner every night, as imperfections show up very easily. But otherwise I'm very happy

Probably the nicest electric range I have ever purchased. Nice features, easy cleanup, the solid oven floor with no exposed coils makes it a snap to clean. Steam clean feature is great.

Nice stove

The stove performs as advertised. The oven smelled like burnt plastic whem used for the first few times. You should was inside of oven with light soapy water to help reduce the smell.

We bought this last month when our last stove broke. There are so many great features. I love the power boil. The stove heats really quickly for electric and the oven has a really great convection feature, which we also have been using for better even cooking. Love this and so glad we chose this model.

Never Again

I made this mistake of swapping out my quite dated mismatched appliances for all new matching GE appliances. I will never do this again. The stovetop, either boils over...or is lukewarm, there is no happy medium. The ovens convection setting is only helpful if you are baking cakes or muffins. I follow the instructions for what cookware and cleaning agents to use, and not only did a piece of the stovetop "shoot off" so now it is chipped, but it is scratched and horrible to clean. You have to clean it a lot because the settings are incredibly difficult. Unless it is on low, almost always boils over. I have put them up for sale...and am gladly welcoming back my mismatched appliances which I thankfully stored in the garage "just in case". Oh...and things start going wrong about the time your warranty has been out for a couple weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love the steam clean feature. Also, the cooktop heats very quickly. The oven cooks evenly. Very happy so far. We have owned this since February 2017.
