I had to return it to the store. I tried to make a fruit shake with some fresh and frozen fruit. The blade spun, but nothing would chop or mix. I kept adding more liquid, let the fruit thaw, shook it, mixed it by hand - and still wouldn't blend.

its much quieter than my old "other-brand" model. I had to use earplugs with the old one, but not with this one.And it does everything I need. Seal is tight, My only complaint is that the jumbo cup does not fit this machine, apparently. AND, I can buy replacement blades for this one!

We had previously owned 2 magic bullets. When the 2nd one broke we upgraded to the nutri bullet. While it is certainly sturdier the blending action takes longer than the magic bullet. The result is our finished project is super thin and must be frozen for awhile to obtain a thick shake product. Kind of surprised by this outcome. If the magic bullet had held up I wouldn't have considered 'upgrading.' This would be a 4 star had the blending action produced better results. Another downside is that additional cups to purchase are ridiculously expensive.
