While I absolutely love the idea of this, my NutriBullet leaks through the bottom of the blades, i.e. when I remove the cup after blending, I have to clean up a bunch of leaked liquid on the inside. I've only had it for a few weeks... so I don't know if they all do this and people just put up with it or if the one I got is defective, but it's an annoying sticky mess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have gone through 2 of the base machines in less than 2 years. The motors keep burning up. I love the ease of use and how smooth it blends things, but the motor is lousy. Make sure you purchase the warranty!

I've had mine about a year. I've used it with varying frequency and had great results. It's a little difficult to clean under the blades, but other than that it's easy to use and clean.

i use my bullets everyday. I had a regular blender but it does not perform like my bullet. After my workout i blend a protein shake and put almonds, fresh fruit and of course my protein powder and it chops it up no problem. LOVE MY BULLET
