I bought this last summer and enjoyed it very much for the first 6-8 months. However the plastic started to wear down, specifically the notches that activate the blender to turn on and stay locked in place. One of my cups is totally unusable, the others are wearing down so I have to hold it down and press firmly to make it work.
I wish nutribullet would replace the plastic cups with a stronger material.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was pregnant and trying to incorporate more nutritious foods into my diet so my husband bought me the Nutribullet for Christmas. I purposely wanted a unit that is small and easy to use and clean. We leave it out in the counter and both use it every morning for breakfast. It does a great job blending and creating a smooth texture - even nuts and seeds. The only issue I have is that the rubber ring in the inside of the mixing piece has come off during blending a few times and almost been tangled up in the blade. I also wish the container came with a lid and a straw so that I could take it “on the go.”

Bought this machine about six weeks ago. Love everything about the machine except, only this time around, it has already started sounding as though the power is dying off only after a few uses. I can smell the moto burning while in use and also the cup stated leaking.
I have earned my first machine about 5 yrs ago, it worked perfect until now! Cup started leaking, hence my this is my second purchase of this machine.
Love it! Very convenient and easy cleanup!
