I loved my NutriBullet that I used every day after a year of use until the day I decided to liquefy only water to be careful about cleaning it and I saw that the water released rust. Now I'm worried about my health

Exploding bullet

I am returning my bullet- as I tried to make some soup in it & after blending it for a couple of seconds the hole bullet exploded under the heat pressure- all over my hands- burning them severely. I check the users manual again & feel that there should be a bolder warning about bending hot liquids ( not because it might break parts- as it states in the soup making section of the manual) but because of danger & risk to oneself!

We are so sorry that happened. We do warn on page 3 of the user's manual (in bold) not to put hot liquids in your unit.

struggled to find suitable smoothie maker that I could count pro points in my extract as I am on weight watchers diet.. Because I am getting the whole amount of fiber, I only have to pro point my nuts or seeds. Therefore I am losing weight healthily and spending much less time washing up compared to my last juicer!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

After purchasing the Nutri bullet for my son I decided to try one for myself. At first I loved it as I was making smoothies every morning in mine. After about two weeks I noticed a distinctive smell when I opened the container. At first I couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from but eventually I discovered it was indeed coming from the seal in the blade unit. It was liquid trapped under the seal and I didn't even know there was a removable seal inside the housing. It was rancid 'gunk' that was very gross to look at when I found it. I returned the unit for a full refund and will not be trying another Nutri Bullet. It's back to the blender for me.
