This is my second bullet. The first one died after 3 years. Not sure what the expected life is but the new one is much quieter. Hopefully it will last longer as well.

I had one of these things for years, and it did stop working one day. I was lost without it as I used it almost everyday. Sooooo, I bought another one. I would not live without one of these. It is one of the few things that sit on my kitchen counter. I use it almost daily, and sometimes up to 3 times a day.
