I worked many years in professional kitchen and I am impressed by the power of this home blender! If either the base or the cup had some kind of texture to help hold onto when screwing on/off this would be a five star perfect product.

We had the original Bullet but it would not mix certain powder drinks so we just upgraded to this NutiBullet 600. This one works like a champ. Do not use for difficult stuff but can't see why it would not work for harder stuff.
