Bad investment for the longterm

I bought my nutribullet 2.5 years ago, and I have used it fairly regularly to make smoothies for breakfast before work. I wouldn't say it has been used 5 days/week every week since I got it, but definitely a fair amount. First, I want to say I followed the directions by filling liquid to the max line and not overdoing it, however, something I always noticed is recipes call for frozen berries or bananas all at once, but if I put a half of a frozen banana and frozen berries in it could not blend it (even with liquid added). I would only be able to do frozen berries OR a frozen banana and everything else needed to be thawed or the blender did not have the capability of blending it. Ice never blended, and making milkshakes never worked, which was disappointing because then this became strictly a limited smoothie maker.
Next, to my much bigger problem, the past few weeks I noticed when I attach the blade and cup to the motor it has gotten increasingly difficult to lock it until today I could not lock it AT ALL. So I guess that is it, my blender is finally done. I have had blenders similar to this nutribullet last much longer that were cheaper. I am very disappointed that it crapped out so soon, but even MORE disappointed that I never could blend more frozen items in it.

Not a good fit

I bought my nutribullet in January 2021. Wanted to begin year in good health. Used it 3weeks and the gasket came loose. Can't replace just the gasket, whole blade unit must be replaced. Not made very well.

Inferior quality, rather hand-mash

Bought this a year ago, both blade bases have had the rubber seal pull loose. Got a replacement and it did the same thing. Never in the dishwasher, only hand wash and yet now I can’t use the base. Absolutely terrible product

Hurts my arthritis

And tardive dyskinesia. Plus keeping it unplugged means I forget and push down aggravating the pain. Should have bought one with buttons. Possibly a different brand. HATE the straws. Too narrow and shouldn’t be curved. I can’t afford a different one and am stuck with this.

Disappointed

Bought my NutriBullet(600W) a year ago. Used it to make blueberry smoothies after bikes rides. Blades were not sharp to begin with and got even duller over time. Have a difficult time blending frozen blueberries.Now it takes 3 minutes(1 minute at a time, wait minute, repeat, etc) to blend a cup of frozen blueberries, and even after that time the blending is not satisfactory. Might try the Nutribullet with more wattage. Will not get the 600W model again.

Not long lasting, not powerful

Got significantly louder after a year and completely stopped working after three years! Does fine with smoothies but not for anything else. Add some frozen fruit and they will clump around the blades. The blender can't handle anything without plenty of fluid. For the price I expect better.
