The removable drink lid sticks so badly that I can't use it to drink a shake. I transfer to a glass. The lid and container are made of plastic, which is the problem, the plastic swells.

In one week of only five Nutribullet servings, ALL my prolonged dermal healing issues, pain and reduced mobility from my severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and my very worn out knee were GONE! My doctor noted my blood pressure was down 20 points! Now I often distrust anyone evangelizing so strongly about such dramatic and quick changes in health, but I can with complete assurance tell you this is what happened and it of course, changed my quality of life more than any medications or therapy I had tried!!!

The NutriBullet has made it fun for me to eat better. I enjoy the different varieties of smoothies I have made. It has made me try, and enjoy, other foods I usually would not (flax seed, chi, coconut oil, etc.).

Good for shakes as long as it's not evolving greens and hard veggies. Basically for mixing liquid drinks. When you mix greens and hard veggies (carrots, etc) you want the ingredients to rely breakdown , the bullet tends to smell burnt and can not handle breaking down of greens and veggies very well. As far as recommending this item to a friend for what I just mentioned, no.
