I bought this over a month ago, and it stopped working. Can't find the reciept, so I can't return it, bommer!! the "on" meconism just stopped locking the container into the base. Overall I don't think it does very much better than my blender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

About 19 months ago, my daughter who is a physician, bought me a NutriBullet for my birthday. Best thing that has happened to me for a long, long time. I now have a smoothie at least six mornings a week. The nutritional benefits are wonderful. I feel better, have more energy and feel better about myself. The nutritional benefits are documented. I am a senior citizen and take medication for Atrial Fibrilation and for high blood pressure. After about three months drinking smoothies from my NutriBullet, my medications had to be changed (improved) because of the difference in my blood tests brought on by my better eating habits. I have always be alert to eating correctly, but my NutriBullet smoothies have greatly improved my nutritional intake. And I like them. It has been a wonderful improvement in my life.

My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I have used it almost every day since! I feel a lot more energized when I'm drinking fresh fruit and veggie smoothies! I thought this would be a good thing for our family and it is. Even our 21 month old little boy gobbles them up - and they have kale in them!! This is pretty amazing to me! Combining kale with fresh fruit and other healthy "boosts" makes for a yummy and healthy treat! We eat them at breakfast and/or dinner.
