I have a Vita Mix machine which I enjoy using. However, when I make a smoothie I like to put the straw in and drink it our of a one serving cup which the NutriBullet provides. The NutriBullet is easy to clean and makes just the right amount for one person. My favorite is frozen banana, peanut butter, chia seeds, kale, and (soy or almond) milk.
