I AM ON NutriBullet#2. I AND AT LEAST ONE OTHER OF MY FRIENDS ARE IN THE SAME PLACE. WE' VE HAD CHALLENGES WITH THE CONTENTS LEAKING INTO THE MACHINE. THE MACHINE BECAME INCREDIBLY NOISY. I PURCHASED STILL ANOTHER BULLET!. BEFORE I FOUND THE BLADE HAD BEEN IMPROVED UPON. STILL YES I WOULD RECOMMEND ONLY THE NEWEST MODEL WITH THE BLADE IMPROVEMENT. I DO NOT YET OWN THE LATEST MODEL BUT I AM STILL TEMPTED TO BUY IT STILL AGAIN!; THE NUTRIBULLET

Within about 2 weeks of using my nutribullet, the inner rubber lining from the bottom blade came out. Afterwards, even though I would replace the rubber, things would continue to leak. I got a replacement for this part but the same thing happened with the replacement blade. Additionally, after just a few seconds of blending, sometimes there is a strong burning smell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I think I've had the Nutribullet about a year or longer. Had only the gasket problem and it was replaced with complete unit with gasket. Quick to use and clean makes it easier to use more often. I would suggest having gaskets easier to remove, clean and replace.

I bought this product November 2013. When I first started using it, I enjoyed making my own smoothies in the morning. I would use basic fruits and vegetables such as apples (except core), bananas, kale, spinach, yogurt and chia seeds. About once or twice a day five days a week. After about ten months I noticed the blender's performance started to suffer and soon after it just died and stopped working. I was very upset and felt that I lost my investment into this device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got this as a wedding gift and it is definitely in the top three of favorite gifts we received! I use it every morning to make a smoothie. Easy to clean, easy to store and just an all around durable, great product. (Just make sure the lid is securely twisted closed and that the rubber seal is in place or you may get some leakage when you go to blend.)
