I have used mine a couple of times and tried to crush cashews and dates which is in one of the recipes but it doesn't blend them. They are just a clumpy mess at the bottom of my mixture.

I bought my Nutribullet just a week before CostCo had them for less. I bought mine at Macy's which is fortunately a very good store for returns. Mine had a serious problem after only 2 weeks of use. On of the buttons that has to push down with the cup would not move without a lot of encouragement from the end of a spoon. Since I didn't think this should be usual procedure for using it, I took it back---and with Macy's no problem. Traded it for another one which the website wouldn't let me register---I suppose since I had registered another one just weeks earlier.

i received this item as a gift. I was quite excited to use and blend, but after about a week or two the blades began binding and leaking brown rusty metallic substances. I am now stuck with a blender that i am afraid to use. Deeply saddened.

Even though I thoroughly wash the blade assembly after each use, I find that food residue gets trapped underneath the gasket ring and decays there. Over time, a smell develops.

We do recommend that you purchase a new blade every 6 months (or as needed) for optimal performance. You can find info on the blades and other NutriBullet accessories here: https://www.nutriliving.com/shop/accessories

I had it for one month and it was amazing for the first two weeks. But from the get go I couldn't open and close it easily. My wrists hurt. Then I couldn't push it down to get it to work. I had to return it and I am so sad! Please re-create it so that it works well, the blending process is the best!! Fix the technology because I would want to try it again.

I bought it for the true purpose of making smoothies. It does that for me. I have found that it doesn't chop things up that are frozen very well, after only using it a few times for two months. I add frozen fruit and still had chunks of strawberries left. If you let it blend long enough, though, it will do a good job. My biggest complaint is that holding it down while it blends is hard for me. I have arthritic hands and the pressure needed to hold down the canister to blend is difficult for me.

Does what it's designed to do but motor power is noticeably inferior to 900 model. Definitely wish they'd do some design tweaking in regards to leakage which for some odd reason occurs ever so often even with my liquids under max fill line. Also I feel this product should come with a brush modeled specifically for cleaning, as blades acquire build up.
