Bought just prior to Christmas on the recommendation of my adult children. So glad I did as we grow our own veggies, and I personally have fought against GMO's so we do eat healthily. I bought the first original magic bullet and now own the nutri bullet i just finished drinkin a great shake that I made I recently saw a demo of your newest one that can turn itself on and off and also make hot soups. I really want to purchase that one next, how about a big discount lol.

Nutribullet is a very convenient and effective blender. It works great for smoothies and other general grinding use. The reason for the 3 stars are a couple of flaws I discovered in the design after 6 months of use.
1. The seal in the blade assembly leaked and the liquid flowed into the top of the motor unit. Unlike other blenders, like Oster where you can see a leak immediately if a seal fails, with this you won't see the leak until you stop and remove the container.
2. There is a hole at the top of the motor assembly and the liquid flows inside possibly into the motor. In my case it didn't affect the motor as the leakage amounted to perhaps a teaspoonful or so. Don't know where it went as it didn't come out the bottom.
3. The third issue is that the seal is not replaceable by the user. There were 3 tiny Phillips head screws which I tightened and the leakage stopped. (The unit might have come from the factory with the screws inadequately torqued) But the vibrations from use could loosen them again and I'll have to be vigilant for leaks. I wish they'd design the blade assembly with a screw on sub-assembly with a rubber gasket like any blender.
I consider these design flaws. Had there been a bigger leak, I think it would have ruined the motor (unless of course the motor is hermetically sealed).
