I have small hands and I am short. I also have arthritis. The nutribullet is hard for me to handle because the twist on container and blade part are both wide. In order to engage the motor, one must press down and twist the container which isn't as easy for a short person or a person with arthritis. Front push button controls would be much friendlier for me and a narrower container. The unit is very noisy. I ordered 2 untis, unfortunately, since I don't really like them. One of the stopped working within the first month so I started using the 2nd one. My husband fixed the unit that stopped working but it still doesn't work as well as the 2nd unit. It is really hard to press and engage the motor! On the plus side, the unit blends the food really well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just lately, the rubber seal has ben coming out when I unscrew the bottom..
It should probably be replaced, as I can not get it clean

I bought my NutriBullet about 10 months ago. At that time I was having 3 to 4 episodes of irritable bowel every week. I started using the NutriBullet and have only had 3 episodes of irritable bowel in 10 months and they weren't as severe as before. This is so awesome and has made me a customer for life.

The lid is hard to open because its too big. the cup is too small, it could be longer because a lot of food doesn't fit in it.
