I do mostly green juices and the juice simply does not grind down as David shows on TV. Why is this?

The NutriBullet is not a juicer. It's a nutrition extractor and the NutriBlasts it creates are often thicker than juice as a result of having all of the healthy pulp blended in.

I bought mine about 2 years ago, as my Xmas gift, and it is certainly worth it. I use it for a healthy smoothie each day. Almond milk, frozen berries, banana, a bit of nutritional yeast and coconut oil, chia seeds, sometimes cacao powder. Delicious, quick and easy. I also juice and eat vegan now because I deal with chronic pain, so I am really trying to improve my health. The Nutribullet is part of the plan. I am definitely feeling better and am happier, the muscle spasms have reduced, and I recover much quicker. I have been able to reduce the muscle relaxants I take. I can never go back to my old ways. I hope I am setting a good example for my grown children. My daughter has started juicing and eating more healthfully. I also have dropped a few pounds. Not bad for a gal of 60. I am just now having to order a new blade, so it lasted pretty long. This is definitely an essential part of my kitchen. I am going to try to make some almond butter, too.

Did not last very long

I received one as a present for Christmas 2013, I followed directions clearly and it lasted maybe four months with an average of two uses per week and sometimes no uses for several weeks. I was to busy to mess with packing it up to exchange and try the warranty so I just bought another one at Target, and I was extra careful in keeping it clean etc. and it lasted less time. Unfortunately I did not keep the receipt.
I liked the way it prepared and the cup size, but that is too expensive to only last that little time. I am looking for another similar product.
I still have the two here if they want them back.
