Fundamental Design Flaw

Leaks water from the blending side to the base of the grinder that interfaces with the motor. Over about a month, corrosion initiates with brown colored water dripping off the base. Being a design engineer by background, I see the following :
- If fluid is able to enter through the bending side to the base side, it needs to have a path out and not be captured within.
- at the base of the grinder on the back side, there is a metal plate secured by 3 screws and press-fittted into the plastic housing.
- water gets inside this cavity and gets trapped. If you shake the entire part severely, one can see the fluid coming out.
- fundamentally, this construction traps water inside the blade compartment with no designed feature to vent out. Further, corrosion level shows the use of potentially a low carbon steel that can corrode with water or acidic fluids based on use.
- I received a replacement part that show the same issue at a brand new stage.
- Design needs to be fixed; should not supply replacement parts with the same flaw.

Broke & Leaks

I've bought two of these nutribullet blenders and within that year, they don't work anymore. The one I have right now broke from one of the little tab which I didn't mind because it till blended. Then every time I would blend, it would get brown as if it was oxidized and I've always washed & dried thoroughly. Recently another tab broke so it doesn't move at all. Would not recommend.

Poor quality

Had this product for just over a year and use it maybe 2 to 3 times a month. The blade failed and was replaced under warranty and now the second blade has also failed under a year. The bearing spew brown grease into whatever you're blending. Poor quality and poor service.

NO REGRETS

I 've had spinal surgery and my grandmother I'm living with is about to go through cancer treatment. I figured a Nutribullet would be lighter to pick up over our giant one at home. Imagine how surprised I was when I unboxed it, saw not only how light it was, but it came with a lid to save your blend for later AND my smoothie did not melt as soon as it placed it in another cup. I'm absoulty in LOVE with the product I may start buying them as birthday ,wedding , and baby shower gifts.
I would recommend this to a friend!
