Very Quiet and smooth operation.

We just got our dishwasher last week and can really tell a big difference in quality of the dishes coming out of unit.

Love the Slate

The slate color compliments my GE French Door Refrigerator, yes. But, the real bonus is in how easy it is to keep the front of the dishwasher looking clean. The inside compartments have two, not one, baskets for silverware and utensils making a small run easy to load. I also enjoy the gray interior which resists spotting or pitting. The special chime at the end of the cleaning cycle is delightful! Now, if GE would help my disabled husband and I, by giving us a new wall oven to replace mine that's as old as the first Star Wars movie, I'd have an out-of-this-world kitchen! (See photo, the oven even looks like Darth Vader).

Gets Dishes Very Clean, Quiet, Wash Takes Forever,

I did a lot of research before buying this product. The dishwasher does a great job getting the dishes clean and it is VERY quiet. I'm happy so far with my purchase. I wish that the description of the features was better. The manual is like one peice of paper.

A better loading arrangment

Just replace an only 5 year old Maytag that the most unfriendly loading baskets of any dishwasher owned! It also was a mechanical nightmare to do routine cleaning of screens and sieves. The GE is a big improvement! It cleans our dishes to satisfaction unlike the Maytag. A very good lower end model.

So far so good

Have had installed and running for the past two weeks. No issues although I’m not a huge fan of the bottom rack layout for plates. Haven’t used the steam or bottle jet features yet. What I have used is standard dishwashing mode. They cleans the dishes just fine.
