Horrible Dishwasher

Bought this in 2017..After the 3 yr warranty expired it stopped pumping water out of the tub. Now after NO USE because I can’t afford to fix it., it just started randomly starting coming on BY ITSELF ! Cheaply made junk!

We had this dishwasher for about 4 years and it already has issues. We only use it twice a week and now it will not register that the door is closed. It beeps and will not start. Look online it seems to be a common issue with these dishwashers. I will never buy a GE dishwasher again.

It looks nice but it’s very cheaply made, everything is plastic and the dishwasher is very loud. Dishes only get clean if you use the hottest water available. The pump stopped working after just two years.

We know issues like that must be frustrating to deal with, and we’d like to assist.
We design our appliances with quality, durable materials that are built to last. We also strive to provide as quiet and peaceful an experience as possible, and this model was designed to run at 51 dBAs (this is a bit above the noise level expected of a library). We do regret that you aren’t satisfied with the materials and noise level, and will certainly send notice to our Dishwasher Design team for future consideration and development. Your insights on those issues, and your other concerns, are appreciated – we always want to make sure we’re aware of any potential areas of concern.
Regarding the temperature, we do recommend that the water be between 120 degrees F and no more than 150 degrees F, to ensure proper cleaning and avoid any damage to the dishes. If your pump is currently broken, our service department is available at 1-800-432-2737 and would be glad to assist with resolving that issue. Our Parts department is also available at 1-877-959-8688, if needed.

Almost perfect

Great cleaning, no residue (don’t use rinse aid), and wonderful disposal feature. I gave it 4 rather than 5 because the lower gasket wears and needs replacing. You have to take off the door, pull out dishwasher, to simply SLIDE in the gasket. The side hinges bar access. This could be DIY if they rethought the access with the open door,

Worst Dishwasher Ever!!

I will never again purchase another GE products. He have had this dishwasher five years and have had to replace the main circuit board, pump and float sensor. Now after a year and a half the circuit board has gone out again. I am not spending another penny on this piece of junk or any other GE product.
