Seems to work well, but had an issue on install

Long story short when we moved into our new house (with installed appliances), the dishwasher didn't work worth a darn. The top rack didn't get clean at all, and the bottom was just a tiny bit better. After running it a few times and getting bad results I opened the door when running and noticed the upper wash bar wasn't spinning. Long story short, after a few more disappointing wash cycles, I ended up pulling out the bottom rack and looked around with a strong flashlight. Took off the bottom wash bar and noticed that the feeder tube that sends the water up to the top wash bar wasn't latched in it's hole. Pushed it down and...CLICK...it latched into place. That fixed it. Makes sense...with that unlatched all the water pressure from the pump was leaking out at that connection point. The upper bar was getting NO pressure, and the lower wash bar was getting very reduced pressure because of the water leak. Guessing that it was something on installation, or it worked loose during shipping or something. But it's something GE should consider doing a design review on to prevent the problem from happening again. A different latching mechanism may have prevented it. Glad I was able to find it myself, most people probably wouldn't and would have to call a tech. Once it was latched in place it seems to be working well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brand new doesn't wirk

Bought this and installed it and doesn't even put water in it. The pump does not work. Very loud as well.

NEVER AGAIN

First off I would not recommend this Dishwasher.
1. Over 3 hours of washing time and the dishes and utensils do not come out clean.
We have to rinse our plates and utensils before putting them in the dishwasher now.
2. When the cycle is finished everything is still super wet. The tub is never dry. It is a little dryer when using the heat dry.
My 16 year old dishwasher washed and dried perfectly in about 20 minutes. Never had to wipe the inside of the tub or rinse anything.
There was nothing wrong with the dishwasher but we replaced it because we remodeled the kitchen and the slate looked beautiful. I would really like my old white dishwasher back!!!!!!!!
Just a question to GE. Do the people who make these new designs actually use them?

More gadgets and longer time does not mean a great product.
I will most likely never buy a GE product again.

I had to replace my existing dishwasher. This one was comparable in features only. It runs for over 2 hours to wash which is way too long and too much water. It also doesn't clean as well and the one that was replaced. This is after rinsing all dishes before loading. I wish I had remained with the same brand that I knew worked.
