Having the same issues. It’s dead after only 5 years. The dishwasher randomly chimed for a few weeks and now is completely dead.

Didn't last 5 years - so disappointed GE!!!!

I had a GE stove I think that lasted over 40 years. When I did my kitchen over in 2018 I chose all GE products based on this quality. My refrigerator handle broke off last year and the dishwasher, as in other reviews below, chirped for a few weeks and died completely today. I'm so disappointed in a brand I've used my entire life. Do better, GE - you're ruining your reputation!

We purchased a kitchen suite in 2017 because of the slate color. Within a year, the microwave needed to have the vent fan replaced. Last year the fridge started making a loud noise like a fan in the freezer is rubbing on something within its housing. Now our dishwasher stopped working. After the start button is pressed, the machine beeps repeatedly to close the door even though the door is closed. I've called two local appliance repair shops and both declined to service it based on unavailable parts! One even said they get 5 to 10 GE dishwasher call every week! Geez GE, you've got to improve the quality and longevity of your appliances! Also, the slate color is only available from GE, so I either give them more money to purchase another dishwasher, or replace my entire suite to have matching appliances!

Well, as I'm reading reviews, seems ours is having the same issue as many others. Dead control panel after only 5 years. PATHETIC! Would not recommend if looking for longevity.

Rarely works

It rarely turns on. When it does, it takes forever to finish a load and the heated dry function works even less than the entire dishwasher itself.

God when it works!

Dishwasher loses power so the time, it has to be unplugged from main board for days to work again!

Also having problems with the controls not having power. Same problem as multiple customers with this same dishwasher. Maybe GE needs to recall this or fix for free.
