Looks good but performance not so good

Does not dry dishes very well. Does not clean the silver good at all even in the rack.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The dishwasher works better and is more quiet than the 20 year old washer it replaced. The soap does not dispense properly if the silverware basket is put on the door. Why make it an option if it doesn't work properly?
Maybe some tips on how to load it.

I bought this in December, since then it stopped working 3 times. First was the heater, then the mother board, and then the heater again!
They keep trying to sell extended warranty. Better if they just replaced the dishwasher

Great dishwasher

I have had this dishwasher for a few months and I love it. My dishes are very clean and I have no issues so far. It is a little hard to keep clean with kids but it's very pretty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Get what you pay for...stay away

Dishwasher came with a package deal - broke within a week. Repair lasted two months - broke again, same issue - poor quality control boards. Even when it worked, it didn't work well and was slower than molasses. Took it out and threw it in the garage - doubt that GE will refund since I put my foot through it, but that's the least of its problems...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looks but poor performer

I bought this dishwasher simply to match my other appliances, and although I simply love my new fridge, stove and overhead microwave, this dishwasher was a great disappointment. It feels cheap from the moment you open the door and every time you close it, it beeps and lights up and you have no idea if you actually started the cycle or what happened. Then, when you actually try to start the cycle, it is hard to tell if you succeeded, so you have to stand over it to make sure it starts running. After the cycle, the dishes come out partially wet and spotted, no matter what drying selection you choose. I wish I would have just kept my old dishwasher without the slate finish!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK Dishwasher

had it now for 8 months. Wish bowls could be lined up down the middle on the top. Took out the plastic cage in the center section of the silverware bin. Does do a good job of cleaning.
