This is one of the quietest dishwashers ever, and with the steam rinse feature, it is one of the best at cleaning tough dishes that we have ever seen, The bottle wash feature is also an added bonus simply for the fact that we have small grandchildren that visit us all the time and it is great for their bottles and the older kid's water bottles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problems from the start

The dispenser lid broke off one month in. The dispenser wouldn't dispense and the detergent hardened. Wasn't cleaning dishes very well. Checking if its just this one or a model issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Incredible dishwasher at the price

Bought this dishwasher to replace a 15+ year old GE model. Boy have things come along way with dishwashers. Cannot believe how incredibly quiet it is. Our refrigerator makes more noise. It does a great job washing dishes. It does leave some water puddling on dishes after dry cycle but that should be expected in those deep contour areas of certain cookware and storage containers. There is a fair amount of moisture left on the racks and walls of the dishwasher which surprised me, but I would probably say that has to do with energy conservation requirements of todays standards. Love the versatility of loading options, and the baskets design/placement options are awesome compared to other makes and models I looked at before purchase. I hope this GE dishwasher lasts as long as our last one, and look forward to many loads of dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Low noise level

It was a big difference when the dishwasher was first operated: the noise level was much lower than its predecessor; the dishes came out cleaner. What a pleasant surprise. However, we still miss our first GE dishwasher!

I purchased this GE Dishwasher after a long term of my former dishwasher being broken. This appliance installed very easily. (myself) instructions were good. The unit washes dishes very well and is really quite. The features (independent rack selection washing , and steam cleaning are great)

Nice machine

It was so simple to install that I did it myself. Washed the first load of dishes last night and everything sparkled. Still getting used to the different settings but that will come with time. This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had. This machine replaces a 1988 GE that finally gave up the ghost. We are very pleased.
